| << back | This picture was taken from a light aircraft which we hired from the aerodrome at Pamiers - Les Pujols. Flights start from around 60 € for half an hour and allow a completely different
viewpoint of the local geography. Our flight took us over the castle at Montségur (see picture later in the gallery), over the lake at Montbel and back over Aigues-Vives before
heading back to base. For information about flights, see this web site (in French).
'La Fontaine' is in the middle section of the main house - you can just make out the slightly lighter colour of the renewed roof in the picture. You can also see the walnut trees in the grounds, and if you look closely, you'll see Nehmie - our Mérens pony lying in the field. |
